We Ready to Move In!

5 of 5
This is our first time ever trying Home Away or anything like it and it was the best experience we could have had. Bob and Katie are so hospitable and while the pics of this house are great, it is even better in person. Everything was clean and fresh and carefully thought out. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and were so sad to have to leave. Even our five year old asked if we could move in. I was ready to move in too! Some awesome perks: * Chilled wine waiting for us in the fridge. We aren't wine drinkers but the sentiment was so sweet. * Some great literature in the house. We especially liked the children's books about Yosemite. * Beautiful surroundings * A cozy place perfect for our family of four but just as suitable for friends or a romantic getaway. * Not too far from Yosemite. About 35 minutes from the Yosemite South Entrance. * Near Oakhurst which is a bigger town with restaurants and grocery stores. * The Kellys provided very thorough directions to their place, tips for things to do in the area, and their favorite places to see in Yosemite. They are also very knowledgeable about the surrounding area and were able to help us out with a few questions we had. If you are considering this place, just do it. You won't regret it!

Beautiful retreat!

5 of 5
My husband, daughter and I stayed at BeeGreen Farms for three days in November. We would have stayed for three weeks if we could have! We arrived to the smell of freshly made cookies, which Bettina had baked in honor of my daughters recent birthday (such a warm and wonderful welcome). We then proceeded to explore the house and grounds and were completely blown away by what we found. The house is so thoughtfully curated with art and unique vintage pieces. It is spacious, immaculately kept and comfortable. Everything that you could possibly need has been provided for (from throw blankets, to movies and music, to kitchen supplies). Then there are the grounds... we walked out through the lovely back porch to discover a babbling stream surrounded by vibrant green moss and grass. The pond at the front of the property is spectacular and provides the most beautiful reflections at sunrise and sunset. My husband and daughter took the raft out on it early one morning and had a wonderful adventure. Many of the trees surrounding the house were changing colors and were covered in brilliant yellow and orange leaves. The organic garden (even in November) was incredible with profusions of zinnia's, tomatoes, onions and a variety of herbs. Bettina encouraged us to pick freely from the garden and brought a bouquet of the zinnia's to us one evening. The property goes a ways up the back hill and there is a spectacular view from the top. Bettina's dog Buddy joined us on some of our walks around the property and is such a sweet and gentle soul. My daughter loved spending time with him. The horse, donkeys and rooster were so much fun as well! We made day trips into Sequoia National Park every day and found the location of the house to be very convenient. My daughter still talks about our stay and asks when we are going to return. It was a really special experience. I truly cannot recommend it highly enough!

Peaceful rejuvenation. Quiet comfort.

4 of 5
Our family of 6 stayed here this past week. The house was a peaceful retreat from our hectic lives. Beds were very comfortable. Kitchen well stocked. Bigger than imagined in pictures. Unique antiques at every turn. Loved the wrap around porch for early coffee and family talks.
