Perfect Place to stay for Family

5 of 5
First and foremost the Kelly family was so polite and helpful during our stay! The house is very clean living room's big kitchens nice and most importantly the bed is SO comfortable. The barbecue was great it got really hot fast so you don't have to wait forever for it to heat up nice area to eat outside if you wanted to the week we went it was a little bit cold so we ate most of her meals inside but during the heat of the summer would be perfect. They provided a huge book of different things to do in Yosemite or Bass Lake or even other activities in the area which are very helpful if you're not familiar with the area or if you don't have an itinerary or plan of action that you've already set before coming here. They have Wi-Fi and the TV is a HDTV so if you have a PlayStation and Xbox You can easily hook it up to use as a DVD player. They also have HBO and a good selection of channels. The dried the best lake was relatively close a lot of Windee road so it takes longer than normal if especially if you get stuck behind a slow driver. Took us about 40 minutes or so to get to the south entrance of Yosemite. There's a Rollies in Oakhurst which isn't that bad of a driver you can do your shopping or you can do it we didn't bring food in a cooler before you get there nothing really North Fork as far as stores. They provide your pots and pans for your kitchen use and even had a bottle of wine that my wife enjoyed complementary . I suggest you bring dinners for each night just because it's so easy to cook and there's not a lot of restaurants around you have to drive to Oakhurst to get to different restaurants. I can't reiterate enough how nice the Kelly's were and this is the perfect place to stay if you don't want to pay the ridiculous amounts to stay at Bass Lake or in Yosemite if you don't mind a little bit of a drive Yosemite I would definitely stay here

Second times a charm...

5 of 5
This is our second visit and we thought it could not get better. Well we were wrong. i would recommend this place to anybody who needs to relax, escape from the pace of city life, explore beautiful surroundings but still have the modern conveniences of home (including internet). You are close to town and all the restaurants, golf course and the park.

Peaceful rejuvenation. Quiet comfort.

4 of 5
Our family of 6 stayed here this past week. The house was a peaceful retreat from our hectic lives. Beds were very comfortable. Kitchen well stocked. Bigger than imagined in pictures. Unique antiques at every turn. Loved the wrap around porch for early coffee and family talks.
