I finally got the chance to send my review for this wonderful property. We stayed there the last week in Sept. and there were 4 people in our party. Pete was great to work with and so were the people in the office where you pick up and drop off the keys. First of all, one cannot say enough about the view from the ample balcony off of the living room. You can see the entire Long Valley Caldera, the town of Mammoth just below you, and the White mountains off in the distance. (Watching a thunderstorm roll through the valley one night was a real treat) There is a BBQ on the deck and comfortable chairs. The living space is comfortable and open with a flat screen that got all the channels we needed to keep up with Football and a gas fireplace that made the room inviting. A dining table sits just off the kitchen and offers the ever present views as you enjoy your meal. There are not enough adjectives to describe the Kitchen. Modern, well equipped with every appliance large or small to do anything from microwave a burrito to a gourmet extravaganza! Honestly, I travel a lot and I have never stayed at a place that had a better equipped kitchen. Every gadget you would need including BBQ tools. A true cooks dream. The laundry unit is stacked just off the hall and allows for a little lighter packing. Both bedrooms have TV and the beds a very comfortable. Ample closet space is available and linens for the hide-a-bed in the living room are on the shelves. The Master bath is one of a kind. The shower enclosure is something you would find in a high end spa with spray heads from in front and behind and a spray wand if needed. Really a treat after a long day of hiking or skiing. The other bath is also well equipped. It is an end unit on the upper floor and is a couple of stair flights from your covered parking space or you can go down to the middle of the building and use the elevator. The spa tub is on the same floor as the unit and is a very short walk. It is a true ski in/ski out building with ski in on the top floor, and ski out on the bottom floor. A real convenience for you skiers. The Bridges complex is impeccably maintained and is very close to desirable attractions (mammoth brewery, The Village/gondola, shops and restaurants. In my humble opinion, it is simply an ideal place to stay while enjoying all mammoth has to offer any time of year.
