The most peaceful, comfortable home away from home

                      5 of 5
My husband, two daughters and I stayed five nights at Katie and Bob's ranch cabin and we truly could not have been happier with our choice. From first contact to last Katie and Bob went out of their way to help us in every way. When there was a glitch with the reservation it was quickly fixed. When we asked for help deciding what to see and do in the small amount of time we had, advice was happily given. When we needed a small item or two in the kitchen to make cooking easier, we had it the very next day. This home was cozy and clean and wonderfully cheerful. We did a lot of cooking in the kitchen to save money and I appreciated the organization and the supplies that were available. We took full advantage of the lovely patio and private front yard, and enjoyed the daily visits from Richard the cat. North Fork is not the closest town to Yosemite but for the price this little house can not be beat. Katie and Bob kept the terms simple, we were not charged for linens, or a cleaning fee as so many of the other properties we looked at did. If you are looking for special accommodations that you will happily remember long after you come home, this is where you need to stay.

Quaint farmhouse with a wonderful owner!

                      5 of 5
The home is very old and rustic but has a lot of charm. We loved the yard. The kids enjoyed playing in the pond and fishing from the covered dock and rowboat. The chickens, horse and donkeys were a bit hit with the kiddos too! We loved picking the organic fruit from the trees and farm land. We are addicted to the mulberries, and are even ordering more! Bettina, the owner, is very sweet, hospitable and helpful. It's obvious that she cares about her guests and goes the extra mile to ensure a great stay. She even brought us homemade apricot bars, fresh apricots and mulberries upon our arrival. The home is definitely not the Four Seasons, but it is clean and full of old books, magazines and art, which is fun to peruse. We even saw the marking on the door jam from which indicated the height of her children as they grew--charming! The home is out in the woods, so to speak, so one will see lots of bugs, animals and dirt. Great for kids! The description on the site is accurate. We would recommend that you visit the organic farm in Three Rivers.

                      Peaceful rejuvenation. Quiet comfort.

                      4 of 5
Our family of 6 stayed here this past week. The house was a peaceful retreat from our hectic lives. Beds were very comfortable. Kitchen well stocked. Bigger than imagined in pictures. Unique antiques at every turn. Loved the wrap around porch for early coffee and family talks.
