The only way to see The Delta

5 of 5
This was our first trip to the delta. We had always wanted to rent a houseboat on the delta but after our stay I believe that would have been a mistake. There are very few places to beach a houseboat and there are some narrow channels. This was way easier. The owner was very nice as far as the reservation was concerned. The house was located right across the street from a gas station and a convince store which was very handy for things that we forgot. The grocery store was less than 10 minutes away. The house was very nice, clean and spacious. Nobody was on top of each other. It had a nice patio and dock. The only downside was the living room TV was older and had poor audio but that could have been the DVD. Besides who wants to watch TV when there were such amazing sunsets. Kitchen had everything we needed and lots of room to park. It was a little bit of a drive to get to skiing water (15 minutes) but most of the houses in this development were in the same boat. The Delta itself was amazing. We could always find a place to ski even on windy days. We found it best to just plan on going out for the whole day and find a place to eat next to the water. A map (for locating fuel and food) and a GPS (For knowing where you are) are a must as you could easily get lost. It was a very great place to stay and will stay here again.

PERFECT for our large family!!

5 of 5
We LOVED this home for our family as we gathered for a wedding in nearby Brentwood. ALL the beds were super comfy. Everything was very clean and in good working condition. 3 bath rooms made getting ready easy and non-hurried. The master bedroom is so large and gorgeous. Kitchen was extremely well stocked, with even coffee beans, cookies and popcorn. We had breakfasts on the dock/patio and pizza and drinks near the hottub. LOTS to do in the area; San Francisco, Sonoma and Napa wine country tours. The internet access made finding directions and maps easy. Guido was very welcoming, even when we asked for check-in flexibility with the wedding schedule needs. Pictures gave just a hint of the lovely decorating and homey touches. I would definintely recommend this property to a large gathering. Wish we could come back soon!! May weather was PERFECT!!!!
