This place is really great. We were a group of 8. There are 3 bedrooms. The upstairs is entirely devoted to a master bedroom with king bed, master bath with large walk in shower, large walk in closet and a separate balcony. The main floor has 2 bedrooms, one with a queen bed I believe and separate day bed and the other bedroom has 3 twin beds. The beds were very comfortable and the furnishings of the house as a whole are very tasteful and nice. The kitchen is stocked with anything you could wish for and there are plentiful glasses, plates, bowls, utensils, etc for a larger group. The front load washer and dryer are off the kitchen and new looking. The real peach of the place is the outdoor dining area and fireplace. It is such a nice area to hang out and enjoy, complete with party lights and outdoor speakers wired to the stereo inside, with an adaptor for a smartphone, etc. to play music via Pandora, etc. The fireplace is gas assisted for easy lighting and wood was provided. There is a gas bbq out there as well, along with heat lamps near the dining room table in case it's a chilly evening. This was such a great find and the pictures really do not do it justice. There is a one car garage which houses numerous beach toys for kids and wagons to pull them, several boogie boards, as well as beach chairs and umbrellas for the adults. The house has a bunch of beach towels you can use. While you can glimpse the ocean from the house it is on a hill and you have to walk about 10 min. to actually get to the beach park, which is awesome--great sand, steady waves and gradual increase in depth without rip current. We loved it there. There are many good eateries in the area. The Board and Brew place right across the alley has yummy and cheap sandwiches. The Del Mar Pizza place was also good and well priced. Stratford Court Cafe on 13th (less than a block away) had nice outdoor seating and good food (breakfast and lunch). Can't imagine a better arrangement and location for the price. Would definitely return!
