Coronada Keeper

I almost don't won't to give this property a great review, because it will lessen the chances that it will be available the next time I'm in the San Diego area. That, however, would be selfish. Rented this property for two weeks and shared it with various parts of my extended family. It lives much bigger than it actually is. Every square inch of outside space is put to use. It was great for drinking coffee in the morning and wine by the fire in the evening. The grandkids loved the slide/pool. Comfortable beds. Plenty of places to sit in the house. The house is on a street that doesn't get much traffic. We rented a car to go to La Jolla and Torrey Pines and Disneyland, but if you just want to stay in Coronado you don't need one. You can walk to restaurants, shops and the beach. There are 3 bikes, a pack and play and a portable high chair in the garage. Miguel's and Rhinocerous Cafe were our favorite restaurants. If you get time to go to San Diego try C-Level restaurant right near the airport. It had a great view and was the best food we had during the two weeks. Caught a play at Lamb's Players Theater and it was very enjoyable. Also was walking distance from the house. The pictures accurately depict the rental. The house was well-kept and fairly well equipped. A couple of things need replacing and I will mention those to Judith. Judith is a very friendly owner. It's a great house for multi-generational groups, but really would fit about anyone. Can easily sleep 12 without any blow up beds, but with kids you could use the blow up beds that are in the closet and sleep 3 or 4 more up in the loft. All in all a great place to vacation.

Wonderful condo with an excellent location!

5 of 5
My family and I (2 adults + 1 yr & 3 yr) were looking for a place to stay in the San Diego area and came across this condo. When we booked, Cherie and Nancy were both a pleasure to work with and more than accommodating. We wanted a quick response since we were leaving in 5 days. They were very efficient on everything (information, booking, etc.). This property was very clean, modern and well maintained. You can tell they really take care of the place and expect the renters to do the same, but I wouldn't expect anything less. The location was amazing!! We pretty much walked everywhere:1)the ferry, which took us over to San Diego for the Italian Farmers Market, 2) Hotel del Coronado (1.5 blocks away), 3) Coronado Brewery (great beer and food), 4) the grocery store (Vonns or the organic store), and 5)all of the shops around Coronado. We also loved how close we were to Hotel del Coronado. We went to the beach the majority of the days that we were here and being this close made a world of difference. It was also a pleasure to know that Cherie and Nancy had two chairs and umbrella for our stay. With two little ones the umbrella was key. We would definitely recommend staying here and are excited for when we return!
