Perfect, Centrally Located Homebase for Explorers.

5 of 5
My partner and I just completed a five night stay to celebrate my 40th birthday- and it was a great experience. Stewart, the owner, was very friendly and graciously accommodated our weird check-in/out needs. The apartment was exactly as pictured and the perfect size for two people. It was well stocked with many extra touches (coffee/tea, TP, soap...) I appreciated the keyless entry so we didn't have to worry about losing/sharing keys. The neighborhood is very safe and fun. We are avid explorers and the Castro is the perfect central location to set out on foot in any direction- we walked to downtown, The Mission, Chinatown, Japantown, Haight Ashbury, Golden Gate Park (for bike rental), The Ferry Building, etc., etc. The hills leading up the apt helped us earn all of the amazing food we enjoyed in the area. We did not rent a car and never needed one (cable cars and buses just blocks away) but there is plenty of free street parking in the area. (Another reviewer mentioned that there is no place to hang clothes but there is...a small rack with hangers just off of the shower area.) Would stay here again and will recommend it to friends. Thanks, Stewart!

Perfect Location...Lovely Condo...Friendly & Helpful Owner

5 of 5
We took our family to San Francisco for Spring Break, and we stayed in Jack's condo. We found it to be clean, comfortable, accessible, and really all we could ask for. Jack was helpful with information and suggestions. I would book this rental again in a heartbeat.

Wonderful Trip

4 of 5
We rented this apartment for the 4th of July week and had a wonderful time. The place was adorable, comfortable and well laid out. This felt much more like home, than a stuffy hotel. The location was perfect and a short walk to shops and restaurants. Beautiful views from Corona Park (right across the street). The apartment had a VERY comfortable bed, and was bright and clean. David was easy to work with and everything went smoothly. Looking forward to our next stay and missing San Francisco already!
