Comfortable Enough Near Glenhaven

4 of 5
We stayed for a weekend at Heron's Nest for a getaway. It was in a good location technically in Clearlake Oaks, but closer to the border of Glenhaven. Owners were very quick with booking and responses, so that was appreciated. Property was easy to find and to access via a lock box at the front door. Property is modern, having been recently done up. There was ample parking as well as a place to picnic with a view in an area to the side of the house. One of the few complaints we had was with the sheets. While the whole house looked to be recently done up and modern, the sheets were of a cheap polyester material which had all balled up from several washes and the fitted sheet was uncomfortable to sleep on. Also, there was, oddly, small shampoo and conditioner bottles in the shower, but no soap! I don't know if this was an oversight by their cleaning people or something, but I was glad I had brought some body wash with me, or we would have had to go down to the local Tower Gas market (which is close and has a good selection of alcohol and groceries and other sundries) to get some! The heating/cooling system was top notch and worked fast. The wifi was reliable and easy to access. All in all, it was a good stay, and this property is comfortable for stays on the east side of the lake.

Clean, inviting and has all the comforts of home!

5 of 5
We have stayed at this property previously and will be back again! The home, yard and all the equipment the owners supply are in excellent condition. Pam is wonderful to work with she is very accommodating and flexible, and Steve it so friendly and helpful! We have twin toddlers and small dogs and are so happy to have found a place such as this to stay!! Thank you everyone at Haven on the Lake we will be seeing you soon!!!! :-)

Girlfriends Getaway

4 of 5
Overall we enjoyed our two night stay. There were 5 of us and we were happy to each have our own beds, although the pull out couches are not all that comfortable. Everything was easy to find, well stocked, and clearly labeled. We had everything we needed. The view of the lake was beautiful and our stay was relaxing. Our only real complaint is the challenging driveway and gravel road. We had issues trying to leave the property with the steepness of the driveway and the transition to gravel. Other than that, we were quite pleased.
