The photos of this property accurately capture its charm--something to be expected, since the owner is a photographer. His gorgeous black-and-white photos of the San Joaquin Valley and Yosemite also grace the home and give the place a one-of-a-kind quality.
My wife and I, along with our daughter and her two children, stayed here for three days. The property was perfect--with lots of space to find privacy for adults and kids. (The kids loved the rope swing in the front yard.)
The home has been carefully restored and remodeled and is lovingly maintained. The kitchen is large and modern, as are the three full bathrooms. All of the floors are hardwood. The master bedroom has a large walk-in closet. Everything is spotlessly clean.
Outside there is a koi pond covered with water lilies, a gorgeous arbor and roses climbing a sunny wall.
You will hear trains nearby--but at just the right distance: not so close as to keep you awake at night and close enough to add a bit of old west charm.
