Charming Isabella

5 of 5
My family flew in to Sacramento to attend my wedding and we figured that instead of staying at a hotel, it'd be nicer for everyone to stay together in a home. This charming, cozy historical house was perfect for our little family reunion. This house is beautiful on the inside and out. The landscaping and vine leaves that wrap around the house were breathtaking as you walk up to the front door. The antique furniture inside the house was absolutely stunning. I can't even describe to you how much I loved all the elegant bathrooms. I had the privilege of meeting the owners of the home. They were very accommodating and friendly people. They put a lot of heart and energy into making this a beautiful place and it's reflected in every inch of the house. I highly recommend this vacation property for families, families with teenagers or young children, mini reunions, girls getaway, and tourists. There was a lot to do within walking distance and an awesome swimming pool in the backyard with everything you would need to throw a bbq. There were only minor issues with water leakage but it was taken care of by maintenance very promptly. Other than that, the house was excellent!

The only way to see The Delta

5 of 5
This was our first trip to the delta. We had always wanted to rent a houseboat on the delta but after our stay I believe that would have been a mistake. There are very few places to beach a houseboat and there are some narrow channels. This was way easier. The owner was very nice as far as the reservation was concerned. The house was located right across the street from a gas station and a convince store which was very handy for things that we forgot. The grocery store was less than 10 minutes away. The house was very nice, clean and spacious. Nobody was on top of each other. It had a nice patio and dock. The only downside was the living room TV was older and had poor audio but that could have been the DVD. Besides who wants to watch TV when there were such amazing sunsets. Kitchen had everything we needed and lots of room to park. It was a little bit of a drive to get to skiing water (15 minutes) but most of the houses in this development were in the same boat. The Delta itself was amazing. We could always find a place to ski even on windy days. We found it best to just plan on going out for the whole day and find a place to eat next to the water. A map (for locating fuel and food) and a GPS (For knowing where you are) are a must as you could easily get lost. It was a very great place to stay and will stay here again.
