Relaxing and clean in a great location

5 of 5
I was traveling solo to San Luis Obispo for work and needed to stay near the southeast end of town. Rather than deal with the hustle of downtown I decided to check this place out -- hoping for some peace and quiet and country views. The location here works for easily visiting San Luis, Pismo, Arroyo Grande or Oceano/Grover Beach. It's really the perfect spot where you can get away from noise but still be close to everything! Before my arrival Tobin provided me with info on how to access the unit, but I ended up arriving at a time when he could give me a quick tour. The place was immaculately clean, and all the extras (fresh eggs from the owner's own chickens, coffee, snacks) really made it easy to settle in as well as making for an easy breakfast the first morning. The kitchen was well stocked, the TV and Internet worked flawlessly, the furnishings were all super comfortable -- I got some of the best sleep I have in awhile despite being in town for work and not a vacation. Waking up and seeing the colors of the sky across the countryside and hills was great too. The amount of space was overkill for a single traveler and I wouldn't hesitate to come with a few more people. For a large group of more than 2 there's plenty of living space (plus the separate gym/hangout area) but just remember of course there's just the one bathroom. My stay was comfortable and convenient and I would certainly come back again the next time I need a peaceful place to stay near SLO.

Wow. Completely perfect property. Honestly, the pictures don't do this place justice. Truly a quiet escape from it all. Tons of land, charm, and nature. Will definitely be back!
