A Deelux Ranch Experience!

5 of 5
Rancho Deeluxe was the ideal holiday getaway for our two families with eight people, spanning three generations! The accommodations were spacious and comfortable, and the space was well-equipped with everything we needed to relax and enjoy ourselves. Even one of the grandmothers, who needed a walker, was able to enjoy the property (with assistance up the front stairs). Inside and outside tables to seat eight, and plenty of wine glasses to enjoy the excellent local wines. Thank you for a fabulous vacation! We'd love to come back!

Beautiful designer house beyond expectations

5 of 5
I just spent my birthday weekend at Pussy Willow Cottage with some family members. Thank you Amy so much for sharing your house. I wish I was still there!! We loved all the decorator accents - the house was exactly what I was looking for with a Carmel feeling. So comfortable and beautiful. The walk to town is great - took about 10 minutes. Walking to the beach at the end of Ocean Avenue is the highlight of a Carmel vacation. Sunset is wonderful but early morning is very special too. We did both. Had lunch at Cypress Inn which is always wonderful. Love Il Fornaio too, at the Pine Inn. Bruno's on Junipero and 6th is open until 8pm for groceries - We cooked at the house 2 nights. Tip for guests in the future - good to have a flashlight for the walk home.

Large family perfection

5 of 5
We have stayed in many different areas of Santa Barbara over the years, but have come to prefer Bel Aire Knolls for its quiet retreat from the crowds and yet proximity to beaches, restaurants and grocery stores. We were delighted both with the house and with Hilary's attention to our needs. Bringing our children and grandchildren from Maine and North Carolina to see their 96 year old grandfather just before he passed away was a dream that was made possible by the commodious and comfortable house. The pool and hot tub were a treat and the ability to erect a safety fence around the whole area made for peace of mind. The number of different living areas, both inside and outside, meant ease in gathering for meals and yet separate areas available for adults and kids. The 5 bedrooms were very quiet, well insulated from each other and the noise of the downstairs gatherings. Altogether, this home was a wonderful spot for the 8 of us to spend the week and have other family members over for dinners. The only flaw we could find was that Hilary was not willing to sell the house to us!
