Carmel Point Beach Cottage - Summer 2014

5 of 5
Rating Details: I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. I was very happy with the location. The vacation rental was spotless. The property manager was very helpful. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Family of 4, 2 adults and 2 teens stayed at the Carmel Point Beach Cottage and the home was exactly at described. The beds were comfortable. And the backyard is beautifully landscaped and very private. The home was well appointed, nicely finished, and the home is even nicer than the pictures show. And the location of the home is very convenient to all the things that mattered to us; 5 minute walk to two beaches and a 10 minute walk to downtown Carmel. Everything in the house was in good working order. Dealing with the property manager was completely hassle-free. We had a great vacation!

Cozy Classy California Bungalow

5 of 5
The 4 of us stayed 9 days. Have to comment on the super comfortable beds, so soft you want to sleep in every morning. Kitchen has quality finishes with very nice dishes, utensils and the best of pots and pans. We loved cooking and eating in our little bungalow. Super nice quiet neighborhood with lots of wild life to see in the meadow and grounds. Loved opening the windows to listen to all the different sounds of the life around us. Surprised at the warm sun on our cheeks while the cool breezes whipped around us in the outdoor patio rocking chairs. Had fun letting our 2 dogs visit the neighbors goats to sniff them couple times each day. The Live Oak Tree, just amazing! While cooking and sipping a glass of wine you can discover this tree from both the kitchen sink and the living room and never get tired of its beauty. My husband did not want to leave, he loved everything about this amazing place. Yes it is about 10 minutes from Santa Cruz but worth it. Felton is a neat little town about 5 minutes drive with a lot to offer without the crowds. We made some day trips to Big Sir and Carmel which were also amazing but could not wait to get back to our little paradise at Ben Lomond Bungalow. Looking forward to a return visit here soon.

A quaint stone cottage under the oaks in Ojai

5 of 5
We loved staying in this stone cottage in Ojai. It is a charming place with lots of windows and skylights. It has a lovely front porch where we enjoyed most of our meals under the beautiful oak trees. It is in walking distance of downtown, Sunday farmer's market, and great hikes. We also enjoyed the proximity to Ventura and Santa Barbara. The owner and daughter were very friendly and available to respond to any need. We can easily recommend you consider this as a destination, as we did for a month.
