Lovely retreat, home away from home.

5 of 5
As quiet as one could get in Montecito. A great, safe feeling home away from home feeling. Proximity to all in Montecito and Santa Barbara was great. We had a great time and really felt remiss to have to leave and come back to a cold blast of -15F. Being in the area again after some 20yrs brought back lots of fond memories and we've contemplated making this an annual R&R. If only we could afford to buy a place out there!! Thanks much and hope we left it to your standards. Chris

Better Than Advertised

5 of 5
Couldn't have been more pleased So pleased already have a reservation for next year. it's everything noted in the ad and more. The bed is heavenly with a feather bed top. Just the right distance from the harbor to hear the seals barking at night. Very safe neighborhood. Great to have a garage for the car. Very well stocked kitchen. Micki is very professional and responsive. Thanks for a great stay and looking forward to our return.

A LITTLE SLICE OF HEAVEN!!

5 of 5
The Cota Cottage was seriously a little slice of heaven and way exceeded expectations. Exactly as shown in the pics, if not better. Beautifully decorated, but also extremely well appointed, and by that I mean the highest quality sheets, thickest plushest towels, beautiful furniture, [added hangers, every detail you can imagine taken care of to the highest quality. The cottage itself is extremely private, there is not only a hot tub and private lounging area in the back but a private outdoor shower as well with an amazing supply of hot water. The kitchen is spacious, well appointed with everything you could need from olive oil to the keurig coffee. Two huge closets for all your luggage and hanging items, bathroom stocked with all the things you might have forgotten like q-tips and travel size shampoo. Parking was a breeze, location was excellent (must walk to Los Agaves for dinner one night when you stay - best Mexican I had ever tasted!) Ocean view, lots of private nooks to have breakfast or read while someone else in another area of the house, kitchen removed from the bedroom so if you are an early riser like me you can prepare breakfast without disturbing anyone. We didn't use the TV but great entertainment setup and cozy couch to cuddle on to watch movies if you wanted and laundry on the premises which is an amazing added benefit. Will definitely be back!!!!
