Perfect Weekend Escape

5 of 5
Four of us spent the weekend here and really enjoyed our stay. The property is beautiful and we loved seeing all the animals on the ranch. We were particularly fond of Sasha, one of the dogs who greeted us every morning and when we returned from wine tasting. She also visited us while we were grilling on the beautiful front porch, but I think an ulterior motive was at play. Shelley and Eric, tenants on the property, were very welcoming and told us to let them know if we needed anything. Oh, and just as the listing says, the beds were extremely comfortable. We would gladly stay at this super dog friendly home again.

Peace of Paradise in Paso!

5 of 5
The little cottage embodies all we love about Paso, the incredible scenery, the laid back atmosphere, horses, proximity to our favorite wineries, great food options around and none of the Nap-attitude (granted there are places we love in Napa, but Paso, we love it ALL). You feel like you are back in your childhood cabin. We loved the bunk beds (and all three of us including toddler slept great), the little back porch where we had our bkfast and wine breaks. We loved seeing the animals around (and Shelly was a superstar showing my two year old around - Merci Shelly!). The tranquil atmosphere can't be beaten (who could choose an ugly hotel by the highway when you have this amazing piece of paradise!). Hostesses are great, laid back but there if you need them. The dogs in the property are an absolute pleasure to be around (some of then nap on our porch). Our toddler was so incredible happy to be able to play with them (he nickname the cottage "maison du chien") when he asked him if he wanted to come home, he said no! maison du chien! We will certainly come back.

Quiet beauty

5 of 5
We enjoy the beauty of the hills above the Santa Ynez River that are the view from this property. The evenings hold the sound of coyotes and owls. There are many birds including a woodpecker that we watch just outside our kitchen window. The Barn Apartment is very comfortable with full kitchen and lovely living room and bedroom. The Cottage is very special with the outside patio and charming interior and a lot of natural light. We enjoy the quiet beauty of the property. It is a very special place to stay in the valley.
