Pajaro Dunes Thanksgiving!!

5 of 5
It had been a number of years since I had been to Pajaro dunes but it was just how I remembered it and was a fantastic place to meet the kids on the Coast for Thanksgiving! The weather was fantastic, location on the beach special and a quick trip to Big Sur and back with lunch was very comfortable trip and we were back to Pajaro Dunes for Sunset. The Unit we rented was well equipped and clean and had everything but the Turkey for cooking a great Thanksgiving dinner. Highly recommend and can't wait to go back! It was such a great location and a different type of beach then we get in Southern CA. went for miles!

Feels like your second home, cozy and inviting

5 of 5
We had a large group (10) attending our daughters wedding. We wanted to have a place that other family and friends could stop by and say hello. The yard space was a huge plus with the outdoor seating and fountain and patio area. We had time for the kids to use the boogie board, and the bikes are a nice to have (sadly no time to use them). We rented the entire 3 units of the Dux House so it was great for our large family to move around to socialize between the units and hang out. Great views from the Papa Dux, Mama Dux was spacious and the sofa, 2 large round chairs and kitchen bar seating made it perfect for everyone to gather. The Baby Dux was beautiful and decor gorgeous (like the other units)The outdoor areas are beautifully kept and a big plus was the parking available in the courtyard area. Location is perfect, less than two blocks to State street, beach 10min drive. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend. From day one the family members of the Dux home genuinely took an interest in making sure they answered all of our questions and went above and beyond in being flexible with making our stay perfect, they succeeded! Thank you Jon, Inga and Laura!

Great Access to a beautiful beach

5 of 5
The beach is a few hundred feet away. It is a beautiful uncrowded beach with moderate surf. The house is fine, but a little dated. Everything worked and there was adequate utensils. The internet was good and parking was just behind the house. We appreciated that many non perishable items were there including a few light beers. The town of Moss Landing is a few miles away. We had a great dinner at Phil's Fish Market and were able to a get some starter food at the liquor store/convenience store. A real grocery store is about 6 miles away There is a food cart that serves only artichokes out on Route 1 that we loved. We did not use any of the resort amenities.
