Recent Carpinteria Reviews

Our family of four, plus two malteses

5 of 5
A very very clean home. No dust, and fine amenities, such as luxury sheets made our nights so relaxed. The house is close to Carpenteria, and Santa Barbara too. The owners were very quiet, and respected our privacy, but were available to answer any questions. We highly recommend this place.

wonderful family vacations

5 of 5
The Beachcomber has always been our family retreat for the past 11 yrs. We found a loyalty to rent from the original owners who were from our home town in Burbank. The location is just a stone throw to the beach and a short walk to downtown. So if you are looking for a week or a longer term you cann't go wrong with The Beachcomber. You will not want for anything once your there as the staff especially Rebecca will make sure your vacation will bring you back year after year.

Cottage with great charm....right on beach!

5 of 5
My family spent a week here and can't wait to go back! It is a true beach cottage, we figure it was built in the 40's, maybe earlier. The cottage was well equipped and even provided bicycles, BBQ, beach chairs, surfboard, sand toys and boogie board. However, for us it was about the location - right on the sand at a truly beautiful beach. Carpenteria is a great little town, reminiscent of days gone by. You'll be close to town - we walked to town for the Avacado Festival and for dinner one night. We spent every day on the beach, walking, exploring the salt marsh, swimming (water was a little cold but it was October), kayaking, shell collecting and relaxing. I hope to be back next year with my family!
