What a fabulous place to stay!!!

I can not rave enough about how much we enjoyed our stay at Villa Samana! We went with two other couples to enjoy Carmel and had plenty of room to spread out and enjoy the beautiful house. The house was immaculate and the photos do not do it justice. Our trip was as much to catch up with old friends as it was about visiting Carmel, so we spent a lot of time at the home. We spent as much time outside enjoying the spectacular views as we did inside relaxing. The house is perfectly located to town and the restaurants and shopping. Each day we toured two or three vineyards and then ate out at one of the local restaurants. The vineyards were all so friendly and outgoing and we loved the local wine samples. I was impressed by the diversity of restaurants nearby and the quality of food. The owner recommended eating at Lokal – it’s a must not miss place! She also recommended Chateau Julien and Bernardus wineries - both were among our favorites. We also liked Boete and Heller Estate. Overall, it was a great vacation and great place to stay.

THANK YOU Miss COLLEEN!

So peaceful. And a hot tub in the woods!? Mr Gary the caretaker was amazing - kids still talking about the chickens and horses. And he & his lovely wife took us on a beautiful tour of the horses! We were amazed by the chain of state trails in the area - connecting right up to Garzas. Our 4yo and 6yo had no trouble hiking 6 miles each day. And - you can see the ocean! A class act all around. Keep this one a secret! Amazing linens, bathrobes for all, and radiant floor heating. Thank you all. This was better than the Monterey Aquarium. And we found the best newts I've ever seen. THANK YOU GARZAS CREEK!
