Amazing!

5 of 5
While the view is impressive, the house has an incredible great feel that is hard to describe. Obvious, the owners put a great deal of time with the decor details. Carol was very helpful in some special needs that my 92 year old mom had. Also, close to great trails and fast internet!

Stunning location in a wonderful town

5 of 5
We just returned from our 5 night stay in Cambria at Cambria Oceanfront Paradise and had a perfectly lovely time. This home looks almost exactly like the pictures...except even better, actually. The house was larger than expected and since there were only two of us, we barely even went in to half the house, spending most of our time upstairs. I was slightly worried that being so close to Moonstone Drive would cause unwanted noise issues but it really wasn't a problem at all. There really isn't a lot of traffic in that area to begin with but with the windows open, the sound of the ocean is louder than 90% of the vehicles that pass by, with only an occasional rather noisy vehicle heard. With the windows and doors closed, the home is very well insulated and most noise is kept to a minimum. The location of the house is super easy and convenient, and the interior of the house still smells new. The TV in the main room upstairs is simply the largest TV I've ever seen in a vacation rental and is quite incredible. If looking upward bothers you, the TV in the main room downstairs is also larger than most. I was also surprised to find a Sony PS3; had I known, I would have brought my favorite games along (but note that some games are onsite)! The house is almost all windows, allowing you to see in all directions (except to the north where another home sits close by), and 95% of the windows have coverings that are easily lowered or raised. All in all, we loved being able to rent this home and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I would certainly recommend this property to anyone looking for a lovely vacation rental in a wonderful town.

More beautiful than expected

5 of 5
This is a beautiful place. The location is outstanding; the home is clean, bright, and well maintained. The colors are bright and the the back of the house is a wall of windows on both stories. The entire back of the house is unobstructed "ocean view". There is no peaking over rooftops, beyond telephone lines, or through moving traffic to see a speck of water. We grilled dinner at night while seals entertained us in the surf. We saw a few boats and there were some folks walking their dogs along the beach. It was just so private. The house is in a quiet residential area that has irs own herd of deer. With these vacation rentals, you never exactly know the condition of the house until you step inside. Beach homes are a challenge because of the sun and salt water. This house was extremely well maintained. There was fresh paint; no sticky window; no warped boards. We enjoyed a couple trips to the Passo Robles wine area. We drove up to Big Sur and took so many pictures along the way. We drove down to Morro Bay and had lunch by the ocean. The best thing about each day of our vacation was was beginning and ending it at Waters Edge. As I begin the last day of my vacation, I sit at the kitchen table watching the tide roll out, and write this review. It will be so hard to leave tomorrow. I would love to come back.
