Amazing Jewel in the Napa Valley

5 of 5
This is a truly magical place. The vistas from all areas of the property are breathtaking. The morning mist blankets the vineyard making enjoying your coffee on the chairs on the front garden so peaceful. We stayed in the Farmhouse and found it had everything we needed. We really enjoyed all the outdoor areas and we found that the hosts had thought of everything down to the imported wool blankets to wrap up in by the fire as the sun sets enjoying a glass of wine. My children loved swimming in December hopping between the large pool and the hot tub. The farmhouse was very well equipped with luxurious touches everywhere from the towels to the teas and lets not forget the amazing sleep we all had because the beds were out of this world. They were like a dream, complete with Italian high thread count sheets and bedding. We were sharing the house with another couple and really enjoyed the relaxing vibe the house has. We would come back in a heart beat. This is such a special place and we are all looking forward to staying here again.

Spacious and Inviting

5 of 5
A long overdue review for this amazing Villa in the Calistoga country. My mother, sister and I decided to do a last-minute girl's trip in mid-August 2014. I have two large dogs and Meike was very accommodating of the last-minute booking and my dogs, which is always a relief on my part to not have to find pet-sitters! The Villa was easy to find, but I would definitely recommend driving in during daylight. It might be difficult to find in the dark when arriving on your first night's stay. Right when we pulled up to the Villa, I knew it was going to be an amazing weekend. The house was very spacious - with a very large, wonderful kitchen and living room. To be honest, we enjoyed the outdoors and kitchen so much, we hardly even spent time in the cozy living room! Lots of sunlight and an immediate sense of comfort when staying here. The back deck was great to relax on - my sister and I even took a nap outside since the weather was so beautiful. We enjoyed the hot tub one of the nights - very easy to use. We felt very safe in the area, even when it was pitch dark outside - as the Villa is slightly secluded. Would highly recommend staying here for a worry-free getaway.

Excellent Location

5 of 5
This is a great location away from all the crowds. We were gone all day until well after dinner but if you like to head back around dinner time and make supper and relax, this would be a great choice. There is a large deck and grill, chairs, etc. The view is also amazing. - you can see so many stars without all the city lights! It is also has two gated drives so you feel quite safe. Do not worry about not staying right in Napa. There are wineries everywhere and hardly any crowds up in this area. We also drove to the coast one day which was very doable for a day trip. There is also some great local places to take hikes. There were lots of places to eat nearby and a great local market. The back road into town had some of the best views we saw on the trip. It was also a great road to walk or jog as there was no traffic. Very hilly and curvy in places so expect a good challenge. A tip from us would be take this road down every day and enjoy the views. Then at night take the less steep main road back up. Make sure you don't mind that one bedroom is large, and the other quite a bit smaller if you are traveling with two couples. This was not a problem for us but just something to note. Everything you would need is provided. (Lines, soap, etc.)
