We booked the La Quinta Casitas after our original rental for Coachella went into foreclosure 2 weeks before our trip. We were lucky to get a reservation at all and it was only due to their tenant cancelling. I was ready to take anything I found. Turns out we got a much better place in a great location with wonderful hosts. I was a bit concerned at first about renting a place with owners are on site but I was honest with Brie and told her that we were a group of 10 respectful guys but we were there for coachella and there to have fun. She assured me that she and her husband were okay with that and that we would rarely see them on the property. She also told me that the yard, pool and bbq were ours to enjoy. The property is beautiful. There is off street parking and you have a private entrance to the grounds and to both casitas. The back patio is huge and feels like the patio of a spanish style restaurant. There is an outdoor cooking area with a large built in grill. The pool is located right next to the 2 bedroom casita and the grounds are well maintained and the grass area is large and beautiful. Both Casitas are beautifully furnished. The linens duvets and towels (including pool towels) are very high quality. The bathroom comes stocked with a basket with all kinds of toiletries, toothbrushes etc. The Kitchens are equipped with high quality plates, glasses and cookware. I Saw Brie and her husband when we checked in and checked out. During the day and night the shades on the main house were drawn and we never felt like we were intruding or like we were being watched. We had guests over every day before the festival and it was never an issue.

We came for a 3 day festival, the the casita was our oasis. It was clean quite and well equipped. Karen and Steve are great hosts. They are around as much or as little as you need them. We will be back and would recommend it to anyone.

This property is well maintained and clean We had initially booked for 3 nights but ended up staying 7 Mainly due to the close location to downtown, the quietness of the property and the helpfulness of the owner in providing information on some of our holiday interests I have already recommended this property to several people I have talked to who are thinking of Palm Springs as a holiday destination The owner of the property answered all our questions before and after we arrived Full usage of a Bar b que for cooking The tram a must, it has great hiking trails and gets you out of the desert and into alpine country Also great hiking throughout all Palm Springs All trails were a close drive from this place Joshua Tree National Park maybe 30 to 40 minute drive.
