Great location, beautiful kitchen, beautiful home

5 of 5
We rented this property during our wedding stay in Lake Tahoe and it was perfect! Jeff was a dream to work with, and was so accommodating when it came time to check-in The home was easy to get to, well stocked with spices and other durables. Great layout for hanging out with friends. The 10 of us had plenty of room to play card games and then retreat to our individual spaces at the end of the night. You've got to check out the bathrooms! Beautiful bathrooms with deep soak tubs and duel head showers. Love!

Great weekend stay!

4 of 5
We had a great weekend at this cabin. Everything was clean and comfy, and it was just the right size for us, our two kids, and our dog. We appreciated being able to bring our dog, she loved catching snowballs and eating them. At the cabin we are pretty sure we saw a wolf walking down the street, and a highlight for the kids - bear poop! :) The kitchen was well equipped and very nice. We enjoyed being close to everything, we took the kids across the state line for the first time and explored that area. Unfortunately there wasn't a lot of snow in the area the weekend we were there, but there was plenty at Camp Sacramento in the Echo Summit area, and the kids had a blast learning to sled. Overall it was a great place at a great price, I definitely recommend it! The only reason I didn't give the place 5 stars is that we had a couple stressful moments involving the locks. We were warned that it may be difficult to get in, and it was - it took nearly 10 minutes to get the lock on the door between the mud room and house to unlock upon our arrival. Then we discovered that the side door can be opened from the inside without unlocking it, and we ended up being locked out of the house when the kids went out without unlocking the door and we followed. Fortunately the kitchen window happened to be unlocked and we were able to boost a kid through. Not the owners' fault, but something to be aware of.
