Nice little cabin!

4 of 5
We stayed here for two nights on our short trip to Tahoe. It's a very nice little cabin, especially for the price. Well taken care of and all the little amenities you need for a nice stay. The only reason I didn't give it a full five star review is the hot tub was only 99° and not adjustable to be a little warmer, and we couldnt figure out how to keep the fireplace on high. Those are very minor nuisances when comparing the overall value of the cabin. I would recommend this place for anyone wanting a brief comfortable stay. Great place for two people to get a way a bit!

Carolyn's Family Cabin-

5 of 5
As with any first time rental, you are always concerned about what you are really going to get. This cabin is in a perfect location. Close to Safeway, shopping, Heavenly Valley and the casinos. It is located on a quiet street. The cabin is basically turn-key. Bring clothes and food, and you are ready to go. Lots of beds (with linens) and towels. The back yard is totally fenced, so our two little dogs enjoyed their time there also. The back yard has plenty of chairs and a table -even a BBQ- for the spring, summer and fall. Squirrels played in the backyard. We stayed during Christmas week. We took firewood and enjoyed a warm fire while there. We took walks in the neighborhood and loved looking at the beautiful cabins. We loved our time at Carolyn's cabin and we will go back!!

wonderful getaway!

4 of 5
The house was pretty easy to find, and only about a 2 block walk to a secluded area of the lake. About a half hour walk to Heavenly and casinos too. It is a warm and cozy house. Well stocked, everything worked just fine, and there are notes all around with instructions that make it very easy to settle in. We enjoyed a lovely Thanksgiving dinner-the oven is a little slow to get to heat, but works just fine once it gets heated up. Fireplace, hot tub, showers, TV all good-very easy to deal with owner. I would rent it again.
