We had a wonderful stay at Fawn of the Lake with our multi-generational family group. The owner was great to work with from the booking stage, during our stay, and through the culmination of the rental agreement. She was prompt and efficient with all inquiries. The home was ideal for our family. The spacious layout, with the bedrooms and bathrooms away from the living area, provided privacy to the individual families. The beds were very comfortable with nice linens and the house was spotless. The home was nicely appointed with decorations, a kitchen that lacked for nothing, great wifi and a big screen TV. The backyard was completely fenced, and the sugar pines and soft bed of pine needles was a perfect place for the toddlers to play. The home is conveniently located within walking distance to the lake and food shopping, and Bijou Community Park is a short drive away. We enjoyed the Taylor Creek area, as well as the Camp Richardson historical sites along the lake. We primarily cooked at home on the grill, but did enjoy a nice splurge and wonderful views of the lake the last evening at The Chart House. Weather was wonderful in October!
