Our family's favorite!

5 of 5
After staying at many other places around South Lake Tahoe, this is by far our favorite! We stayed once a couple of years ago, and just stayed again this past week. It felt like coming home the second time we stayed. Everything is just as we needed it to be. We have to little ones and the layout was perfect! The kids rooms are up in the front of the house and the master is in the back, down a long hallway. So that provided some nice privacy for us! Every room in the house is well stocked and there are even items that you wouldn't expect to find in a cabin rental. Things like a crib, highchair, kid-friendly plates and cups, tons of different kitchen items, a bbq grill, and even many pantry type foods were all there! The location is perfect too. It's in a nice quiet neighborhood in town. It's very close to the grocery store, many restaurants, the lake, and of course the ski and sledding resorts. The owner, Kate, is great too. She's super friendly and gets back to you quickly whenever you contact her. Booking was easy and our stay was more than enjoyable. After staying twice now, we've made the decision that this is our "official family cabin rental" whenever we visit South Lake Tahoe! Really looking forward to going back!

Heavenly Vista... was indeed heavenly.

I cannot put into words how amazing this vacation was. Bill made everything so easy. This place has it all, and our group took advantage of every amenity. Hot Tub/Badminton/Horse shoes… we also brought our bean bag boards. We had to force ourselves to leave to go see the lake and enjoy Tahoe. I would say most of our weekend was spent at the cabin. We were there with 6 adults and were very comfortable. One couple had to sleep on the bottom of one of the bunks but said they would do it all over again. The kitchen and bathrooms were very well stocked with everything you would need. The last day we did run out of toilet paper… but as I said… we barely left. The cabin is close to everything, so a quick safeway run took care of that. The keyless door was really nice for the couples who wanted to stay out a little later. We had so much fun and so many memories were made here. I can't wait to return to Tahoe and stay here again. I would recommend this place to anyone. Thanks again Bill.

Nice Condo

4 of 5
We had a very good experience. I appreciated the owner was very quick responding to some questions that I had concerning wheelchair accessibility of the place. She even went by the apartment to check there were no steps. (Don't get me wrong it is not a fully accessible apartment, because the bathrooms are too small for wheelchair access). This condo is a real bargain. Of course, you don't get to rent a new, shiny apartment for that money, but everything was nicely functional. I can definitely recommend it.
