Paradise Great For Large Families. So special!

5 of 5
We absolutely loved staying here! It was beautiful, easy, special, tranquil and just what a busy family from NY needed! The house had everything we needed and location is unbelievable! Thank you! The Canter Family P.S. The game room is awesome! And the Hot Tub!

Absolutely Fantastic

5 of 5
It is really difficult to put into words how beautiful this place is. I have stayed there several times over the past few years and am drawn back again and again. Our whole family loves the place. My wife and two little boys think of it as our favorite place to get away from it all. The house is lovely, and extremely comfortable. The grounds are wonderful and truly private. The views make you feel like you're in your own private kingdom. I can't wait to get back.

Dreamy Comfortable Home

5 of 5
I looked at this property before but opted for a 100 year old cabin closer to Hwy 1. I was to rebook the 100 year old place but the listing showed not available. I later found the site was not working. How lucky for my family of 4. We found this cabin to be much more accommodating and comfortable. This is a charming home cared for with love and pride. My husband and I spent a great amount of time on the deck overlooking the forest and ridge. Just being, listening to wildlife at night, watching the forest come alive in the mornings. The deck is large and comfortable, it pulled me like a magnet upon rising. My husband was drawn there when the sun set after our day trips to the various parks and towns. He is a star gazer and brought his portable telescope for viewing. He grilled steaks one night & declared he must have a gas grill just like it. The grown kids enjoyed the panoramic views from the rooms & wifi. They were up with the dawn bird watching, enjoying the ridge wake up. The kitchen is spacious, well stocked with a large separate dining room. We dined and played board games in the dining room. It's a perfect floor plan for families. We ran the roads somewhat. The parks and area are otherworldly beautiful. The same can be said about the ridge house. We enjoyed being right there and not always going. We did dine at the local tap house burger night and dined in Monterey as well as shopped. The Ridge is close to everything but far away to wrap yourself and your senses in tranquility and peace. Thank you Cheryl & Jake for your lovely hospitality. We will be back!
