QUAINT AND CHARMING!!!!!

5 of 5
I rented this farmhouse for my girlfreinds birthday. When we arrived Katie greeted us and when we went inside she had a birthday card, ballons, brownies and a bottle of Chardony wine for her. Oh a birthday hat and whistle as well!! What a surprise. We totatlly enjoyed our time there. We weren't bothered by anybody, played games and had a lot of fun. Barbequed every night!!! We went to the Sugar Pine Railroad and to Bass Lake as well. Oh and the Buckhorn Saloon for breakfast. Yummy!!!! Thier kittens were our entertainmenr for one evening. We will be going back as soon as we can. Thanks Katie and Bob!! We had a blast.

I have only one word Awesome!!

5 of 5
The house is so good that you can not imagine by looking at the photos. It has got all the amenities as mentioned here. Terry is a great host, she was available in the night 12:30 AM on phone to guide us. She has kept wine & beer for us. Lot of crockeries in the house, kids has got the playing stuff, pool table, ultimate recliners, AC in the rooms, towels and tissues in bulk. At last no hotel can provide us such a great stay!! Thanks

Lovely cabin. Great location. A little tight.

4 of 5
Everything was clean, neat and as advertised. It worked perfectly for our 3-generation family, since we had a bunch of people and only my wife and I wanted to share a bed. Kitchen was well-stocked, and they invited us to use whatever was in the fridge/freezer (like BBQ sauce and an unopened carton of sherbet - which was great for fruit smoothies) Lots of nice space in the backyard, with loungers and a picnic table. Some of the ceilings were a little low for my teenager, my FIL and me, but we're all over 6 feet. Two small issues: We couldn't find the second bathroom for the first hour or so upon arrival. You have to walk outside...almost like an outhouse/laundry room on the back of the cabin. The cabin was owned by a former judge who presided over death penalty cases. There are many news articles on the walls, including a collage of death row inmates and two pictures of the gas chamber. It's a little weird curled up with a good book on vacation and the NightStalker is peering down on you... But we would definitely rent again!
