It was our second time staying at the Angelus Oaks cabin. I am just so grateful to Anna and RJ that they are willing to share their very special cabin and acreage. The setting and the cabin is magical. We shared the experience with 3 other families and six eight-year old boys. The boys were sobbing when they had to leave. In fact, my son sobbed most of the afternoon, asking why we couldn't stay longer. The families decided we have the make the Angelus Oaks cabin adventure an annual event. Which brings me to the greatest gift RJ and Anna are providing in sharing their property: lasting and meaningful memories! RJ's and Anna's generosity goes far beyond just sharing their property. Anna extended her kindness even further and brought us and our children on a river hike (which required exponential patience with 6 eight-year old boys). It felt startlingly close to Huck Finn with some of the boys antics. In the end we felt so close to the property and to RJ and Anna that we couldn't help breaking bread with them, again! Cheers to you both. Looking forward to another magical time at the cabin with good food, good wine, good company and some skinned knees (which for our young boys comes with the territory).
