After I booked and paid for this condo, I read about scam rentals on airbnb and Craigslist. People paid lots of money and ended up with nowhere to stay. One of the warning signs is places that have no reviews!! I got very nervous because this beautiful looking place didn't have any!! I was hoping that either the owner just added it to the rental pool, or never asked guests to write one. Either case, I sweated a bit.
Turned out, this is not a hotel but a timeshare resort. Reservation was made through another service and not the resort directly. I enquired about the Wifi situation and was told that log/in, password info will be provided at checkin (supposed to be included in the rates). When we arrived, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. However, she told us that we'd have to pay for Wifi or contact the owner for log/in info. I told her I had no idea who owns the property. I did email the manager after booking but never got a response. I ended up calling the timeshare reservation service again and got it straightened out.
The 2 bds/2bas unit was beautiful and new!! We were told that the property underwent renovations recently. Having our own en suite bathroom and our daughters their own bathroom was awesome!! We ate cereal for breakfast every morning and lunch and dinner out. Didn't do any cooking. The kitchen is great for people who like to eat in.
The property is 3 blocks to Disneyland, so we walked back and forth. Another awesome point!! One night we went up to the rooftop deck and watch the fireworks.
Pros: Great property for the price
Cons: There isn't any!!
