Very peaceful and relaxing

5 of 5
We rented this home when we were on the island for a tennis tournament. It was phenomenal and I would highly recommend this home. All bedrooms were nicely furnished with comfortable beds and each were made with high quality linens. Don and Anna really have thought of everything to make their visitors feel comfortable and welcome. Kitchen is well stocked. We found the TV room with the fireplace and lazy boy chairs extremely comfortable for relaxing after a long day, or having coffee in the morning. The hot tub is an added bonus.

Conveniently located, very attractive suite

4 of 5
My wife and I spent a terrific March in Victoria, enhanced by the convenient location and interior and exterior charm of our rented suite. It was very well furnished, comfortable and generously supplied; the outside terrace is surrounded by lush vegetation, and has both an o/s fireplace and gas BBQ. Close to major highways ( and public transportation ), it was easy to get around Victoria and the Island by car. The owner was keenly interested that we had everything we needed, and provided great local knowledge and ideas. There is a good 9 hole golf course almost next door. Would definitely come back and recommend to friends.

Loved it and highly recommend

The accommodation exceeded my expectations as I was initially very hesitant to rent based on photographs and without a personal visit. Did not have the pleasure of meeting Don and Anne as other reviewers have described but their substitutes Sal and Jessica were very helpful and went out or their way to be helpful. The spaghetti, sauce and bottle of wine were there as another reviewer has described but little did they know that we are vegetarians and teetotalers so couldn't avail ourselves of this treat. In my opinion it is the thought that counts and would have no hesitation in booking a future visit :) My wife who is very particular about these things thought the place was clean and tidy. Was surprised by the weekly housekeeping service and my son who stayed for the entire month thought that it was a particular god send, as he could concentrate on his studies. Lucked out with the weather and took advantage of the backyard, which is well maintained by Sal. Victoria is a beautiful city and we took the hour and a half bus tour which gave us a sense of history and how the city planners have blended the old with the new. Would have no hesitation in recommending a stay in this family friendly neighborhood and we were even graced by a visit from the deer that seems to be at home in the surrounding yards. This seemed to sum up the idyllic and peaceful nature of the area. As Don has said to "just bring the food" as everything else is provided. Did not get a chance to enjoy the hot tub in the back yard and hope to do that in a future visit.
