My husband and I stayed at this small apartment for our 9 day trip to British Columbia. The location is perfect. After staying here, I cannot imagine staying downtown. This location was perfect. We were a very short walk to the nearest Skytrain station, the Yaletown Roundhouse, we had easy walks to the BC Place for MLS and CFL games. The community bus that goes to Stanley Park stops nearby. Yaletown is close to water ferries to Granville Island and home of great restaurants. If we return to this area, we'd stay here again.
Now that I've talked about the area, I want to say that the apartment is also very nice. It's not large by any means, but it is certainly adequate and comfortable. It has a small living and dining area, a kitchen that is stocked with cookware and dishes and a small sleep closet. The bathroom also has a washer & dryer - it was very nice to not pack clothes for 9 days and do laundry part way through the trip.
The building is very secure as well, require key fobs for entry as well as for the elevators.
The only negative is that like many residences, hotels, shops & restaurants in Vancouver, the building is not air conditioned. We were there during a "heat wave" where Vancouver temps were in the 80's (I think that is 20's for Celsius). While it was still cooler than Florida, it did get rather warm in the room. We combated that by keep the blinds closed and the windows open. This would NOT deter me from renting here again.
