The first thing that drew us to this listing is the location. We were looking to spend a long weekend seeing downtown Vancouver and some of the surrounding areas.
A block and a half walk from Waterfront station is only a single train ride from the airport, and easy access to the bus lines we needed made it very easy to get everywhere we wanted. The skytrain, seabus, and buses got us on the way to the Museum of Vancouver, the Richmond Night Market, and Lynn Canyon, all within a 5 minute walk.
The pictures and description of the apartment showed it as a reasonably sized one bedroom, and it met our expectations. Everything was clean and comfortable, definitely nice to come home to after a day of sights. Closing the doors and windows meant a nice quiet bedroom, and we slept very well. The bathroom is through a pocket door from the bedroom, which we were warned required a little extra attention to open. The bathroom itself was good, a nice high pressure showerhead and clean white towels.
Once we had decided to book this location I got in contact with Elizabeth. She was very helpful and accommodating. Once we arrived Martin walked us through the place, and recommended a fantastic sushi restaurant (Sapporo, on Robson). Checkout was as simple as locking the door and walking away.
We didn't take advantage of the kitchen beyond the fridge and coffee machine, but there were pots and pans and a microwave that would have seen some use if we were there longer. We did use the washer and dryer, and it was nice to be able to travel home with clean clothes.
Overall we were pleased with our stay, and would definitely consider booking it again.
