Central location - with great views

4 of 5
We stayed here in August at the end of a three week trip round British Columbia. The apartment was not as spacious as we expected - and a little too full of technology for us. But we did want something completely different to the rural locations we had stayed in for the rest of the trip ! The apartment was very clean on arrival and the views are spectacular. Great location - close to buses and trains, and walking distance to most Vancouver attractions. The apartment had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and a great swimming pool ! We were warned by a policeman on our first night that the area borders the seedier part of Vancouver, but we were careful and did not have any issues. But we did see some interesting characters when heading back to the apartment at night. The entire building is secure and we did not feel unsafe at any time.

Great Location, awesome loft-style apartment

5 of 5
My husband & I spent a week here and loved it! The apartment was very modern, clean, and had all the conveniences you could ask for: Shampoo, hairdryer, laundry detergent, coffee maker, kitchenware, etc. At one point we had an issue with the knob on the dryer and the owner came out that morning and replaced it immediately & even hooked up the window unit A/C for us (which you really didn't need, the weather is wonderful!). There is also a parking spot provided in a garage, which was great when we rented our car. The location was awesome! My husband & I are avid runners and we could run all along False Creek, to the Seawall, and around Stanley Park. We made full use of Vancouver's mass transit system and the apartment was just a block away from the tram and bus stops. Olympic Village was just down the street where you could find a great brewery, bakery, etc. with several grocery stores just an easy walk down the opposite way. The area itself was also very safe & well maintained (as is most of Vancouver). The apartment was a great couples getaway. As there was no closed off bedroom, it might be awkward if you had to share the space so we would recommend this to couples or a small family. The only downside to this apartment was the view. The apartment is on the first floor and looks out across the street to a police parking lot. But really, as we were gone all day, that part didn't bother us. Plus, you have access to the rooftop terrace, which has a view of the Vancouver skyline. Vancouver is a spectacular city with so much to see and do. This apartment was perfect for our week long vacation!

Nice and Spacious, perfect owner!

4 of 5
We can highly recommend you to stay at the nice spacious suite on Cliff Ave which has an extremely nice owner. We are a small family of 2 adults and one child who stayed in the suite for 3 months in 2013. We had a fantastic time as the suite fells like a real home with a perfect location in White Rock and a super nice and extremely helpful owner. The suite is very spacious with a nice room for the kids including a good solid bunk bed and walk in closet. Further, the bedroom is roomy and the bathroom is nice including a bathtub. We also enjoyed the very spacious living area including an open plan kitchen, dinner table and TV-couch area with a fireplace. The suite has its own entrance at the back of the house where you will find a small garden area facing south so there is plenty of light and sun. We found the location to be perfect as you are within a short walking distance (without any hills) to the center of White Rock and a nice park almost located in front of the house. Furthermore, you can walk down to the beach in 5-8 min or choose to stay up on the plateau and find a bench where you can enjoy the beautiful view of the sea and/or Mount Baker (covered in snow). All in all we found this suite, its owner and location to be perfect. Thus we can highly recommend this place whether you are staying for a few days or long term. Enjoy Beautiful White Rock!
