Great location!!!

5 of 5
We really enjoyed our stay at the Glacier Lodge. Excellent location, 5 mins away from Blackcomb lifts and 10 mins to Village. Very well stocked condo with everything you need. Would definitely stay again.

Great location, Great Suite, Fabulous View

5 of 5
We can honestly say that we couldn't be happier with our stay. To begin with, the suite was excellent. It had a warm comfy vibe to it, nice artwork, a well equipped kitchen and a comfortable bed. We found everything we needed, like wifi, cleaning products, sugar, a coffee maker, kettle, parking space, etc. The view from the living room was just breathtaking! Sea and sky and sailboats as far as the horizon. Next time we're here, we'll definitely hire a boat for a day and explore some of the little islands we could see from the suite! When darkness hid the sea, we still enjoyed the Vancouver skyline and the twinkling lights of the mountain ski runs. Close to the building, we caught the Hop-On Hop-Off tour bus which gave us a narrated tour of the city. We jumped off at the attractions that sounded interesting, like Chinatown and Gastown. We'd then wait for the next bus, as they came by quite often. At the Vancouver Aquarium, we fell in love with Chester the baby whale. So cute! He's been a resident since he lost his mum and was rescued from a local beach. Not far from the suite are many nice restaurants and shops. But our fave every morning was to take a tiny ferry (it looks like the Little Tugboat that Could) from the condo to Granville Island farmer's market for farm-fresh goodies, great spanakopita and those giant gooey cinnamon buns. Mmmm... Oh! And I've left the best for the last. Stanley Park! This natural treasure is surrounded by ocean. We'd take long, leisurely strolls on its pedestrian seawall, with the sea on one side and various sights like the totems on the other. We took tons of pictures. Keep an eye out for the mermaid lounging on sea-swept rock! Our host John was friendly and helpful, providing us with a picture map and pointing out all the best sights of Vancouver, Whistler and Victoria. To sum up, we're very happy that we found this place!

Very comfortable

4 of 5
The property was represented as it was. It was clean, easy to get to, instructions were simple to follow. A suggestion would be to put the bunk back together in the loft upstairs rather than 2 beds to create more room. There were plenty of dishes and cutlery et cetera. If there was enough snow we would have had ski out! We would visit this place again and the communication from owner and rental company was just fine.
