Great House/Location!

5 of 5
This was our first time in Campbell River so just wanted to explore a little; try the restaurants/pubs; and relax. It was fall so we had rain, sun, wind, clouds--everything! The house/property was comfortable in all weather. We enjoyed the electric fireplaces inside; the hot tub with a view of the ocean; the porch with the heaters and the view!; the driftwood beach; the DVD library; the great wifi. (The wifi wasn't working well when we got here so the next day, Georges had a new router installed!) Georges and Rumina, the owners, were great! Rumina made some great chocolate/banana breakfast cake that we snacked on the whole time. The refrigerator was stocked with milk, eggs, butter, etc. and Georges brought some great bread for toasting. Rumina had the bathroom stocked with a variety of high-end hair products to try. Everything was clean and the house was tastefully decorated and very interesting! We were close to town and enjoyed walking the Rotary Seawalk with all the wood carvings and of course, the beautiful view! We loved the view of Elk Falls north of town and the huge trees! We enjoyed the Quay West Pub and the Riptide Pub in town. We would definitely come here again and will recommend it to our friends! Happy Guests from Seabeck, WA
