Whistler Dream Home

4 of 5
Rating Details: I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. I was very happy with the location. The vacation rental was spotless. The property manager was very helpful. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Shared this rental between three families with little kids for a week in August. It was the perfect arrangement with everyone having a lot of separate space but good large communal areas for dining and lounging. Large deck out front could use some chairs, kitchen could use a sharp knife or two and was missing some basics like salt. We also had a mouse or two. But those are very small details. Overall it was a big impressive place, close enough to walk to the upper village where there are bikes to rent, the kids village, and lifts to blackcomb peak. Overall the beds, linens, furniture, kitchen etc was of high quality and the decor is warm and inviting. Manager responded on 9/15/2014: Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback and we are so pleased you enjoyed a great friend and family get together and enjoyed the spaciousness that Horstman Lane Chalet offers. We have passed along your suggestion on deck chairs onto the owners, and our property services team will sharpen the knives. You will be pleased to know due to your feedback and that of other guests, we are currently looking into how we can offer salt and pepper in the home while meeting health regulations. Thanks again for taking the time to share your review and we look forward to welcoming you back to Whistler again soon.

Great option

5 of 5
This home was everything and more what we expected. This was a perfect place for two couples to enjoy together. The view out the front window was beautiful. The kitchen was well equipped. There were so many extra small touches..bottle of wine, mints, robes, slippers...we will go again.

Great House

4 of 5
Rating Details: I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. I was very happy with the location. The vacation rental was spotless. The property manager was adequately helpful. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We used this home for an EO retreat (9 business people) and found it quite comfortable, close to everything and extremely clean. This is a good house for a few couples and kids or all single people as most of the beds are split in to twins. It was summer when we were there, but the ski out option in winter would be great. Great tv room with big tv and the views are AMAZING!! I think they should also put some furniture out on the front patio. The back patio is great but small. Some things we wished for: Better stocked kitchen (basic spices, paper towels, more platters for serving large groups) The grill needs repaired and the comforters need replaced/cleaned. We had a difficulty communicating with the staff during our stay. They said they would bring paper towel and never did etc. Overall, would totally recommend this place to a big group in summer or winter. It was AMAZING. Manager responded on 9/15/2014: Thank you for taking the time to share your review and we are so pleased that Taluswood the Ridge #14 comfortably accommodated your business retreat and overall your visit to Whistler was an amazing one! We are very disappointed to learn that communicating with our front desk team proved difficult. We pride ourselves on providing excellent customer service and we will be addressing this feedback with our Front Desk and Guest Experience Teams. We have also passed along your suggestion for front patio furniture onto the owner. Thanks again for sharing your review and we hope to welcome you back to Whistler again soon!
