Best cottage experience in the Gulf Islands

5 of 5
Carl and Tracey know how to make their cottage a 'home from home'. Comfortable, artistic, and welcoming, the roomy cottage has modern appliances, thoughtful layout and a quiet location. Their cleaner is meticulous, and the cottage was warm and the fridge was well stocked when we arrived in the early afternoon. Their cottage guidelines are clear and thoughtful, and they have an impressive array of books, games and videos. Carl was very friendly and a font of knowledge, and we would/will recommend this property to our friends. We enjoy hiking, bird watching, and visits to local galleries. Salt Spring has some fine walks, grand wild life and excellent galleries...we recommend the local pub, Mobys, and the Rock Salt Cafe.

A very relaxing stay

5 of 5
The Coach House was an incredibly relaxing little getaway with all the comforts of home. We especially enjoyed cooking nice meals with the gas range, barbecue, and herb garden, and dining on the patio overlooking the ocean. It was nice to have a little spot all to ourselves where we could spend our mornings and evenings after a day of exploring the beauty of Pender Island. It's not completely private but the owners were not around a lot and, with all the main windows facing away from the main house, it still felt like our own little place. Would definitely recommend for a couple or small family wanting to get away and slow down time for a few days.
