            Busy beach convienent location

            5 of 5
Very nice small complex in the center of the beach area. It is a typical busy Brazilian beach where you can buy everything from clothes trees/bathing suits/cover ups and food. The general area was very busy and therefore somewhat noisy at night, but very convenient and right across the street from a supermarket. Many restaurants and food places immediately available. The apartment itself was nicely furnished, we did have some trouble with the dryer part of the washer dryer. The beach it self was clean with nice waves, though does get somewhat narrow at high tide. A great place for a family beach vacation. I would also travel around the island and visit the various variety of beaches

We can't wait to visit again!!

Our stay in Floripa was AMAZING to say the least and our stay in Floripa Cabana made it that much better. Conveniently nestled in beautiful tranquil Barra da Lagoa, the Cabana was just a 5 minute walk from the now very up and coming Barra da Lagoa Beach which extents to the serene beaches of Mozambique. There are restaurants, city bus stops, and convenient small super markets a short walking distance as well. Of course you can always catch the bus to take a short 10-15 minute drive to the near beaches of Mole, Ghalleta, and Joaquinna with its beautiful sand dunes or head out even further to explore downtown and Jurere/Dos Ingleses beach. Ted, the owner of the Cabana is a fantastic host. Always keen to our needs, he was 100% there when it came to helping us getting around the island for advice on travel, food, night life, ect. Upon arrival we were welcomed by his friendly and ever so loving dogs, all of which we fell in love with especially "blacky"... he will win you over right away with his happy smile. In our fridge Ted had left us a welcome home starter package with all kids of fruits, red and white wines, cheese, bread, water, juices, beer, and all the goodies that came in handy after traveling a long distance and arriving tired and hungry. Thanks Ted!!!! The cabana, only a few years old looked as if no one had ever lived in it.... immaculately clean. It was beautifully decorated with detailed interior lighting all over the home, and world artisan decor... Ted made you feel like you were in a 5 star hotel. Extremely attentive he always kept clean fresh towels and linens every 3-4 days like clockwork. There was no need to ever ask anything during our stay... Ted was always on top of things making sure our stay there was as comfortable as possible. He was kind enough to have a bottle of Champaign for us to celebrate our NYE too. Ted even has a pair of bikes, beach umbrellas, beach towels, all the necessities to help you have a relaxing time during your stay.... all you need is to get there and let yourself be pampered by the beautiful sandy beaches. Thank you Ted for being such an incredible host, for being a friend. We hope to stay in touch. We wish you much success, health, and Travels! Sincerely, Virgilio and Liza
