Beautiful! Looks just like in the photos!

4 of 5
We enjoyed an absolutely amazing week at Kas Daas. This was our first time doing a rental home and we were a little nervous that the house was too good to be true. Luckily, it was even more beautiful in person than in the photos. The space is truly amazing. My only complaint about the house was that it was pretty poorly stocked as far as cooking utensils go. With how beautiful the kitchen was, we expected it to actually be stocked with the utensils necessary to cook. There wasn't a single spatula or spoon for stirring things while cooking. We also had to buy a chef's knife from the grocery store because the only knife they had was a single paring knife. Had I known, I would have packed my own stuff. While it was a bit of an inconvenience, it wasn't a big deal. Keesjan was incredibly responsive and helpful through the entire process from booking to checking in during and after our stay. I'm not sure if maybe the house manager Adrianna was having an off week while we were there but she wasn't very responsive. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would be lucky to stay there again. Thanks Keesjan!

All the best comforts for a great vacation!

4 of 5
This is our second time in the Bon Bida apartments. We especially enjoy the good location, great view and the apartment has all that is needed for a comfortable stay. Bon Bida is within walking distance to great restaurants. Very clean well maintained apartments and grounds. We would definitely recommend this property to anyone.

Divers' Dream: The Best!!!

5 of 5
Second stay at the fabulous Beachcomber Villas. We stayed a month and spent 2 weeks in each apartment, so see notes below. The hosts at this property are just unbelievable and the property itself, right on the ocean in a quiet neighborhood with a dive shop a 3 minute walk away, is wonderful. Beachcomber Villas is primarily set up for quiet, friendly couples who dive and/or snorkel. If you want to throw loud parties or you prefer not to talk to your neighbors, this property may not be a good fit. Also they do not take kids under 12. All other visitors will love it. The owners bend over backward to keep these apartments immaculate, including rewashing every single dish and utensil in the well-equipped kitchen before a new guest arrives. There are so many thoughtful touches: a lightweight portable drying rack for wet suits and towels, beer bottle cozies for your evening beverage, a few days supply of coffee so you can be awake enough to make it to the grocery store, and some old towels (which look better than my new towels) "because you never know when you may need an old towel for something." And the nice Weber Q grill on the terrace. And the cute little battery powered lamps for the kitchen or terrace that they purchased because I mentioned that the overhead light was kind of harsh at night. How about that? Both apartments are very nice. We like the smaller one a little better because it has windows on both the east and west and gets a nice cross draft which keeps it cooler. We never used the air conditioner. Of course, when those happy little rain squalls blow through, you do have to leap up and close the eastern windows. Also we left them closed when we were out, just in case. And be sure to close the window in the bathroom when you shower so the shower curtain doesn't blow around too much. In the larger apartment, the kitchen makes an "L" with the bedroom and you don't get as nice a cross breeze, so it gets pretty warm despite the fan. The owners do a good job of mosquito control; there are not many; but it seemed to me I was using the handy portable mosquito zapper more in the large apartment than the small one. We have had four sets of neighbors in the six weeks we've spent at Beachcomber, and they were all delightful friendly divers with whom we shared many a "sundowner" while sitting on our upper terrace or at the beachfront with the owners. Yarn-spinning is a Beachcomber tradition, so be prepared to share yours and listen to others'.
