A GREAT EXPERIENCE

5 of 5
My girlfriend and I stayed at this property for a almost a week and it was a great experience. We arranged in advance to have transportation from the airport and the cab driver was there waiting for us, despite our flight getting in 30-40 minutes early. The cab driver also lives near the property so it was easy to coordinate getting a ride back to the airport as well. The owner of the property, Ms. T, was very accommodating and had a great homemade swizzle cocktail waiting for us when we pulled in. The owner is well known in the area. On a Friday evening we had a long walk to a nearby hotel for their happy hour party and afterwards I asked at the front desk to call a cab and another young hotel worker volunteered to give us a ride. Along the way he realized that we were staying at his cousin's property, Ms. T. He didn't even expect to be paid but we gave him a good tip. The unit itself looks as it is depicted in the photographs. It was ample room for my girlfriend and me. The kitchen was in working order and we used it to make breakfast every day. The location of the property is the best part. It's a bit of a walk down to South Rd., (maybe 5 minutes), but the bus stops are right there. If you want to skip the walk you could rent a scooter but we used bus transportation for the entire week. From there it's only about 5-10 minute bus ride to the best South Shore beaches. If you grab the bus the other direction it's about 15 minutes to Hamilton. You can grab a bite to eat at the Swizzle Inn location on South Rd. It's about a 20 minute walk from the rental unit. We had a great time in Berumda and will definitely come back. The island is very safe and everyone we met was as friendly and helpful as could be.

WONDERFUL PROPERTY!

5 of 5
We traveled with our two boys, ages 20 and 16, and we all loved our stay at the Camden Inn. The property along with the owner's hospitality exceeded our expectations. We each had our own cozy, air conditioned bedroom with a very comfortable bed. The owner, Cheryl-Ann, was so kind to initially stock the kitchen and refrig with necessities. She also provided some bus passes along with beach towels, chairs, a cooler, and even rain ponchos so that we could immediately begin to experience beautiful Bermuda. The attention to the cleanliness and details of the home was outstanding. The property has all the conveniences needed to truly make it a home away from home. Also, the grocery store, restaurants, and the bus stop are all just a short walk away. The property and the owner's attention to making her guests feel welcomed and comfortable throughout the stay will definitely bring us back to Bermuda and the Camden Inn.

GREAT PRIVATE ROOM WITH KITCHEN!

5 of 5
We stayed here for 8 nights and really enjoyed the privacy and location. It was great that it had a full kitchen. Waking up and having bacon, eggs and toast really helped the budget for food cost (although groceries are very expensive as well). The apartment was super clean and looks just like the pictures. It is perfect for two people. Three adults would be a little crowded maybe. Depends on how much space you like! It is well located to the southern beaches, and you could walk to Horseshoe and Church's, but we rented a moped from Elbow Beach Cycle for the week! (although Oleander Cycle is just 1000 ft away from the apartment). I just found Elbow Beach Cycle to have newer bikes, although the basket on Oleander's is bigger! Which would be super nice. You can go all over the island with no problem on the cycle. Melody had Craig meet us at the apartment and he checked in on us once during the week, although we were out enjoying the day. I felt I could contact them at any time if I needed, but we were just fine. Blue Water Divers is just a 10 min drive up towards Somerset, so if you like diving this is a perfect spot so that you are close and don't have to worry about traffic or leaving early to make it on time. Blue Water Divers is a great place, however I would try and get on dives with less people, sometimes there were maybe a couple too many divers which makes things go slower. As for eating out. Hmmmmm. :) We found it difficult to find really good food for what you pay. I would not recommend Henry the Eighths. Found hair in my curry - server didn't care. They still get their tip anyway. Pompano Beach Club is a nice place for dinner and the sunset, but yes, there were birds flying around inside. The Chowder and Calamari were great! There is a hidden gem in St. George's (opposite side of island) called Art Mel's Spicy Dicy. HUGE fish sandwich, for about $12. A STEAL. It was my lunch and dinner. Make sure to ask what locals put on it, as you can get a variety of stuff. Don't just get fish. Hot sauce, lettuce, tartar sauce, cheese etc. While in St. George's head back to Tobacco Bay and spend some time snorkeling. Probably the best that we did (although Church's is good), we liked the maze of rock pillars. A lot of fish and easy access. Overall we had a great time in Bermuda. We would totally stay with Melody and Craig again. BTW Paid by wire transfer, was safe. Cody
