A great place to stay

5 of 5
My wife and I spent two wonderful weeks in Bermuda and a large part of the enjoyment was staying at the Exim apartment. While it is at the west end of the island it is still centrally located because of the bus stops within half a block of the apartment. Every half hour a bus would arrive to take you to Hamilton or the Naval Dockyard. The village it is located in has two restaurants, a pharmacy, doctor, clothing store and a liquor store. Just about everything you could ask for. Two bus stops away is a full supermarket. If you wish to go to St. Georges at the east end of the island a ferry leaves the Dockyard every hour. As i said an excellent location. The apartment is fully equipped with a stove, fridge, dishwasher and washer and dryer. It has an excellent king size bed and one of the truly beautiful views of Mango Bay filled with sailboats and cabin cruisers. Cathy and Jody are excellent hosts. Whatever you need they will provide it or find it for you including a free ride from the airport (up to $100 dollars if you take a cab). Their helpful advice on where to go and what to see made our trip much more interesting, plus they provided beautiful weather for us. When you decide to visit Bermuda one of the first things you should do is look up their web site at Exim Apartments. I know you won't regret it.

Beautiful Spot

5 of 5
We enjoyed our stay at this property very much. It is the perfect location for sunsets with hammocks and benches perched above the surf as well as outdoor seating and tables on the lawn. The ladder to the water was fun and is great for snorkeling with a lot of colorful fish to see. The accommodation was comfortable and well equipped. Vanessa and Duncan were very nice, approachable, and accommodating. We would stay here again, and would recommend it to you.

Fabulous Place to stay!

5 of 5
I would absolutely return to this apartment! Highlights: Brand New apartment with water view from every room. Immaculate. In town location and close to restaurants, pubs, historical sites, grocery, pharmacy. It met all of our needs and owners were a delight to work with even giving us suggestions for places to visit, where to snorkel and swim, transportation around the Island and who makes the best cookies daily (GoJo...must try their cookies). Huge kitchen is fully ready for making fine repasts. Their store, JUST ADD WATER, is nearby and we used their snorkeling equipment to swim around the waters around St. Georges. We will return for a jet ski tour! Food: Wahoo restaurant several times with delight. Tavern By The Sea for romantic full moon dinner with a fab waiter. Art Mels for the most amazing fish sandwich ever and a lovely chat with the owner. We shared salads or starters and then split an entree, which kept food prices down and was just the right amount of food. Restaurants amazingly supported this request and we received generous portions of food! We brought 3 frozen filet mignons from home and bought organic kale, veggies, salad and eggs and created an amazing dinner and two breakfasts with leftovers to balance eating out. Wine stores are nearby and prices are Boston prices with a few rare finds if you know wines :) I would recommend this apt for romantic couple, family and friends and those with young children as the floors are new and very spacious for toddlers. Apt is not overly furnished which contributed to the expansiveness of the ocean. A glass of wine on the deck overlooking the rising moon and peaceful waters was just what we went to Bermuda for. HINT: Close blinds during the day to keep the heat out (it was hot last week!) and the windows and doors to the ocean allow glorious breezes to flow through in the evening. We were initially concerned about staying in a place with no review (they just finished rehab so we were the second people to stay) and are glad we did! St. Georges is a lovely town with easy access to the rest of the island by ferry and bus. Convenient in town location. LOVELY folk on Bermuda; every person has a smile and a happy hello or asking us how our vacation was. We were recognized in St. Georges and were greeted a few times with HI NEIGHBOR much to our delight. Thank you Faith and Neil (and Tanya at JUST ADD WATER) for a glorious week!
