My wife and I loved this house and its stunning views. Its proximity to the Fairmont and the Reefs make it a great alternative to either if you want to be near, but not within, a resort. The house is perched on the edge of a majestic cliff with stunning views from almost every room. Plus, not mentioned in the posting is that the house features a rustic path leading down to a truly incredible spot on the water. You can sit among striated rock formations with a glass of wine (or yoga mat) and observe the turquoise water up close with total privacy. There is even a little swimming hole carved out of the rocks. For a beach experience, you just take a short walk down to the Fairmont beach. While we rented a moped from the nearby Fairmont, you can easily call a taxi.
Chris is a highly responsive owner who will pick you up at the airport, swing by the grocery store, and even provide a cell phone during your stay. Great spot for a romantic getaway or for 2 couples. All of our friends at the wedding stayed at the Fairmont, where they were nickel-and-dimed for everything, and were quite impressed by our cottage by the sea.
