Believe the five star reviews!

5 of 5
We just returned from a dream vacation. It started from the moment we were picked at the airport up by Wendell and Xinia. They gave us a gracious welcome, then conducted a mini-"guided tour" of the island on the trip to their home. In the process, they got a good feel for our interests, and were able to direct us to restaurants, parks, and events that we would enjoy. Believe the other five star reviews! The million-dollar view, the wonderful location, the gracious hosts and clean/well appointed apartment are all accurate. We can add a few more features. The apartment has beach chairs, an umbrella and snorkeling gear for two. There is no need to rent or bring your own. It is an easy ten minute walk to the famous Horseshoe Bay. (Check to see if a cruise ship in. The beach could be crowded.) If you want solitude and good snorkeling, the apartment's private beach is the place to go. And Church Bay, a quick bus trip from the apartment, has the best bay snorkeling. (It's easiest to enter the water near the foot of the steps. Rocks in the surf make it tricky to enter farther down the beach.) We also enjoyed watching stars on the deck (trying the Star Walk app was fun). Sitting in the beautiful garden area and feeding the birds was a special treat. And, of course, chatting with Wendell and Xenia was always a pleasure. They are truly special people. We can't wait to go back.

Relaxing and Very Friendly

5 of 5
My wife and I recommend this property to those who want to relax. It's not for kids or the elderly. The bus stop is a bit of a hike up and down some hills, but we enjoyed the walk. Vanessa and Duncan were there and what sweet people they are. We stayed in the Longtail unit and it was just what we needed. The wi fi doesn't work to good there, but I think they are going to get another router to resolve the issue. We really enjoyed the sunsets and the beautiful ocean. We snorkeled and swam several times. The people of Bermuda are very friendly people. We enjoy riding the bus and talking with the locals. The bus drivers are full of information and willing to share it with you. We will be back.

A great place to stay

5 of 5
My wife and I spent two wonderful weeks in Bermuda and a large part of the enjoyment was staying at the Exim apartment. While it is at the west end of the island it is still centrally located because of the bus stops within half a block of the apartment. Every half hour a bus would arrive to take you to Hamilton or the Naval Dockyard. The village it is located in has two restaurants, a pharmacy, doctor, clothing store and a liquor store. Just about everything you could ask for. Two bus stops away is a full supermarket. If you wish to go to St. Georges at the east end of the island a ferry leaves the Dockyard every hour. As i said an excellent location. The apartment is fully equipped with a stove, fridge, dishwasher and washer and dryer. It has an excellent king size bed and one of the truly beautiful views of Mango Bay filled with sailboats and cabin cruisers. Cathy and Jody are excellent hosts. Whatever you need they will provide it or find it for you including a free ride from the airport (up to $100 dollars if you take a cab). Their helpful advice on where to go and what to see made our trip much more interesting, plus they provided beautiful weather for us. When you decide to visit Bermuda one of the first things you should do is look up their web site at Exim Apartments. I know you won't regret it.
