Recent Bermuda Reviews

Just Right!

All of the previous reviews were spot on! Wendell and Xinia are wonderful people full of information about the island and the many things you can do there. They picked us up from the airport (and took us back) and gave us a tour Hamilton and drove along Shouth Shore Rd past our place to show us around a little more. We were not planning on staying inside very much, so the unit was perfect for us. Why waste money on some extravigant hotel room when you are just sleeping in it? Nothing negative to mention. The unit is on the road side of his house. The traffic is not heavy or loud. You get to look out onto one of the golf courses. There is a sitting area there, but we used the deck in the front of the house. Sunrise and sunset on the ocean. I could do that everyday! We grilled in 2 of the nights on the small grill and we were able to warm up in the hot tub after getting caught in an afternoon rain storm (which was predicted, but it was so nice in the morning that we still went to St. George's). We decided to rent a scooter and then were off on our adventures. We drove all over the island in our 5 days and saw almost everything on the list. Lighthouses. Forts. Naval Dockyard. The Railway. Caverns. Parks/Gardens. Beaches. Churches. Shopping. Horseback Riding. Our travel was not in tourist season, so we were able to get around without any problems. At no time did we feel insecure while being out-and-about. The beaches were empty of people. Occationally, we would pass someone else on the beach, but for the most part it was just us, playing in the water, or relaxing with snacks. The water was still warm. Absolutely breathtaking views. The locals are extremely friendly and eager to assist you. The positivity radiates from everyone. It truly is an amazing place that I intend to re-visit many times.

For the perfect Bermuda holiday

The location is terrific. Only 15 minutes to the airport, wonderful harbor views, close walking distance to the bus stop, restaurants & all that St Georges has to offer. The home is fully equipped from the gourmet kitchen to the audio equipment to the pool. It even has all the snorkeling gear you need. We're seriously considering renting it again next year for 2 weeks! One is not enough.
