The Condo was great for our group (three adult couples). We never used the 4th bedroom down the hall from the master bedroom. Everything was in good or excellent shape per the pictures. Terrific ocean views, very fair price, well equipped, relaxing location, well kept grounds. No phone (or internet) there so we rented a cell phone at the Goldson airport (BTL office) for $5 US per day + $25 phone card which lasted us the full week for making dinner and diving reservations. Cushions for the pool side lounges are in the storage room but bring your own beach towels.
Josh was willing to arrange excursions but we were too busy diving to need his help (Island Divers and Amigos). He did arrange a taxi to and from the condo which worked out very well. The pier with palapa was handy for pickups by water taxi, or to sit and enjoy the ocean. The road to the condo from town is a bit rough, but we managed it quite a few times in our Carts Belize rented golf cart (cheaper for us than water taxis with 6 adults and multiple trips to town).
Food; Aji, Akbol and Lazy Croc are so near it’s easier to walk to them than drive using the beach walk path.
Aji is higher priced, but the atmosphere is fantastic, as is the food. Akbol is cheaper but still on the beach and has very good food. Celebrity was great for breakfast. Lazy Croc was only open for lunch, but they’re expanding to dinner soon. Great lunch menu. Palapa Bar is far enough for us to want to drive to, but well worth it. Good bar food, drinks, great atmosphere and you can’t beat floating in an inner tube and having buckets of beer delivered to you. The Village Market just north of the toll bridge heading out of San Pedro has a variety of food with many US brands. (Note that you’re going to pay much, more for any US brand item.)
We all loved our time in Belize and staying at the OceanAire condo. If you want a GREAT ocean side condo, not in town but a short ride away at a reasonable price, this is the place. Highly, highly recommended!
