PERFECT LOCATION: CITY CENTER OF BRUGES

4 of 5
My wife and I recently spent three nights at Breydelhof in Bruges. We found the apartment very clean and with quality appointments. There are many positive aspects to renting this apartment: right in the city center, private and quiet day or night, walkable to everything, air-conditioning, nicely appointed, nice semi-private outdoor patio, great inexpensive restaurant two short blocks away adjacent nice park. The owners also own a nearby hotel which has a great, very helpful staff (especially Iris) and an indoor pool offered for our use. The hotel invited us to attend a walking tour of Bruges hosted for their hotel guests; this tour was a highlight for us. There are also a fews negatives from our perspective: Limited kitchen and bathroom space. Also, the upstairs sleeping area was quite warm at night and required us to run the air conditioning all night. The stairs were steep with the only bathroom downstairs. Not recommended for anyone with physical limitations on climbing stairs. It was interesting that the shower, sink, and toilet were all one continuous space. Overall, Breydelhof is a very nice place to settle for a few nights in Bruges.

ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL PROPERTY!

5 of 5
I have stayed at many vacation rental properties and De Hoedenmaker is at the top of list! The property was delightful and well located. Marie-Christine met us at the property and gave us a very thorough orientation of the property along with many recommendations for sights and restaurants to visit during our stay. Everything was in easy walking distance from the property. The home was quite comfortable and in meticulous condition. Bruges is a lovely town and we had plenty to keep us busy - we explored the city, went on a canal cruise, rented bikes and rode along a canal to Holland, watched a world Cup game on a large screen in the town square - we will definitely be back! Thank you to the Micholt's for being such fabulous hosts!

LITTLE TREASURE IN THE HEART OF BRUGES

5 of 5
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the garden studio, it is such a treasure tucked into the heart of Bruges. We found the studio to be full of character and charm and didn’t even mind the terrible weather as we got to spend more time in the house warming by the stove. The studio was clean, fully equipped and although we were only two we feel it could comfortably accommodate four people. Our hosts were very helpful, providing excellent suggestions for places to visit and local amenities and even warmed up the studio for us prior to our arrival! Access to the studio allowed us to be completely flexible coming and going. We would definitely recommend the studio as a wonderful base from which to explore a really beautiful city.
