A suite in paradise with amazing owners

5 of 5
First off, the suite is amazing. It initially seemed way too big for just two of us, but we found the space perfect for spreading out and letting the breeze blow in the big front door through the living areas and bedrooms. Of course the patio with the hammocks and chairs facing your "private" beach and lagoon is the focal point of your time at the property. Even though we were working at a dive shop on the other end of town, we found many hours to watch sunrises and enjoy the evenings with a sundowner beverage on the patio. The lagoon is perfect for swimming and snorkeling. We cannot say nicer things about the owners, Cary and Jody. They were amazing. Gave us our privacy, but were there for any issues or to help make the stay more enjoyable. Our six weeks with them convinced us to try to stay in Utila semi-permanently. Don't let the fact that the house is 3/4 of a mile from town scare you. We walked or rode bikes every day into town, and the fact you weren't in the middle of the competing music blaring from the downtown bars was peaceful. Seabreeze is nearly the perfect rental getaway, and it supremely well managed.
