Adventurous Honeymoon Destination

5 of 5
My wife and I spent our honeymoon at Sea Pool Villas in Jan 2015. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and would highly recommend Brigitta and Jaw's getaway home to others! Coming from the States, Roatan was quite the change of pace. There is essentially one main road that runs the length of the island. A representative from Sea Pool Villas met us when we arrived at the airport, and we followed her to the property, which was about twenty minutes away from the airport. Interestingly, the property was approx a five minute drive off the main road on a rocky/dirt road. Since it had been raining on and off, the road wasn't the best for the small economy car we rented (from Dollar rental, which we would absolutely never recommend to anyone!). So we returned our rental the following morning and instead chose a jeep from Roatan Sales and Rentals on West End (who were great!). We would certainly recommend others to also rent a jeep. The property itself is just absolutely amazing. The view is stunning, the gardens first-class, the appliances and furniture modern. It feels as if you're at home. The king size bed is super comfortable, and the bathroom is just awesome - warm water, good water pressure, the whole nine yards. There is WiFi, though it wasn't very fast. Obviously, breakfast won't be ready when you wake up. You have to cook it. You have to make your own bed. You have to clean up after yourself. So if you're looking for a vacation in which you're pampered and don't have to lift a finger, you should look elsewhere. This is a place for hardy and adventurous folks. It is tropical, so obviously there are insects. You have to open and close the property gate when you come and go. That said, Ms. Brigitta and Jaw did everything in their power to make us feel comfortable. They changed our bedsheets and towels halfway through our week-long stay. They arranged for a massage at home for us on our first night. They brought us movies almost every night to watch. We couldn't have asked for more! In summary, we would highly recommend adventurous couples to come and stay here! The place is quite safe, the people nice, the adventures endless, and definitely the experience of a lifetime!

Better than Disney!

5 of 5
I am Sera, 9 years old. I stayed with my dad and friend at Chillax and I loved it.❤ My favorite part was swimming in the pool. I was very surprised to see that the pool was not freezing cold like other pools where I live. The pool was nice and warm, but not too warm and was very relaxing to swim in, so I spent most of my time doing handstands, headstands, flips and more in the pool. I also enjoyed sitting on the balcony or just reading. The view was very nice and you could see the ocean. The beach was also a fun place to go to and I have to admit that this vacation in Honduras I enjoyed even more than Disney World. The beach there is also a place that I recommend for you to take your children to. It was so much fun, there were these bouncy things in the water that you could jump on and let me tell you these were really fun. Overall I think this was the best vacation I ever had!

Luxury Accommodations from start to finish.

5 of 5
Everything about the Pristine Bay resort is first class, without exception. This villa is furnished with every amenity a traveling person is looking for: fine linens, immaculate housekeeping, modern technology( that actually works), a private pool and patio, and service for any possible desire a phone call away. Every employee of Pristine Bay goes above and beyond to make sure the guests are accommodated. Once we arrived we didn't feel the need to leave the resort again. There are multiple fine dining options which never disappointed. There is a pool side restaurant that we enjoyed for lunch each day. We chose to have breakfast delivered to the villa several mornings to start our day relaxing by our private pool. It was such a perfect location I am embarrassed to say we didn't even get out and explore, heading back this spring - already booked this villa again.
