                      5 of 5
We just got back from renting this beautiful condo on West Bay Beach! We went with our grown daughters and their significant others. It was a great set up for 6 adults! The condo was clean on arrival, well equipped, Liz and Mark were available on email and readily answered all questions. The view from the deck was spectacular all day long. Very comfortable furniture throughout the condo. The deck provided seating in the sun as well as shade! Also on the deck you were able to avoid the many vendors peddling their wear.... Each night we gathered for a beautiful sunset as well! The ocean was a beautiful turquoise color/white sandy bottom to swim and snorkel in/and very safe to take long walks on day or night! Hint: shut off your AC during the day if you open up the sliders because by the end of the week the AC was iffy in the bedrooms..... We totally enjoyed walking the beach to check out the great restaurants/bars like "Bite on the Beach/Fosters/Beaches/Las Rochas /Bananarama to name a few favorite! Very reasonable to go out for dinner compared to many other vacation spots we have stayed! We did have a great taxi driver that Liz recommended. Frankie, and he picked us up/dropped us off at the airport. We did stock up at the grocery store on arrival from the airport which is a must. Make sure you buy bottled water or check with Liz to buy the water jugs in the condo! If you do not have a rental car (which you do not need!) it is hard to find basics in walking distance, so bring it with you! Frankie also took us on an afternoon tour of the island which was worth it. Also, one of the best dinners was had in the West End which has shopping/bars/sunsets/etc. just an easy taxi ride or water taxi ride away! We scuba dived with West Bay Divers for the second time and were very happy with them! One of the best vacations ever and we will be sure to return!

                      Extraordinary island experience

                      5 of 5
Our two families, including 4 kids, enjoyed an exceptional week here. Three things made the CVV experience stand out: 1) The house itself is magnificent, built recently to the highest quality standards and perched atop a hill with commanding views over the sea. It may physically be the nicest house rentable on the island. The pool, beach cabana, jet ski, boat, sea kayaks, home audio/video - all related equipment are similarly high-quality and ready for enjoyment. If you visit, be sure to check out the beach next door to the house, which is sandier and allows wading out to a small island. 2) The service exceeded any that I've enjoyed in my 17 years of renting vacation homes. It starts with the responsiveness and professionalism of the home owner, who cares deeply about the guest experience, and continues to Cass, the wonderful property manager. She helped us plan everything, including daily activities (zip lines, van tour, boat trip, etc.) and especially diving (she is a certified dive instructor). On diving, she hooked us up with three different shops on different parts of the island, where we arranged to hit the specific sites we most wanted. One of those dive shops is nearly adjacent to the property, but the others are 10+ miles away, and we were easily able to do them all, thanks to her planning. Nolvia, the cook, rocks, and we recommend using her for dinners, too. Given her skill, there's no need to leave the property to enjoy the best of local cooking. Raul made transport a breeze, and if you speak Spanish, you'll find him and Nolvia great to interact with. Gary, the mechanic, is also the owner of West End Divers, and we greatly enjoyed our day of diving with him. In sum, you won't find service this comprehensive at a 5-star hotel, let alone any other vacation rental. 3) The combo of house amenities (boat, jet ski, pool, sea kayaks, etc.) and island activities (diving, zip lines, animal parks, dolphin experience) combine for a wonderful mix of experiences that can, thanks to Cass's help, all be enjoyed without breaking a sweat. It takes little effort on the part of house guests to plan and enjoy it all. I doubt any other accommodation on the island could match this. I'm personally a senior employee at HomeAway/VRBO and have stayed at a lot of houses over the years. This is one of the best. Enjoy!

Great snorkeling right from the beach

                      5 of 5
We recently stayed here for a week with two other couples. The location is certainly convenient to local restaurants and the water taxi to West Bay. The house was comfortable and well planned. They offered a variety of security measures, so any fears about safety can be put to rest. The snorkeling right from the beach beside the villa in Half Moon Bay was wonderful and shouldn’t be missed. The villa was very nice, although it could use some cushions on the porch for sitting comfortably any length of time. Make sure you hire Susan one night to cook for your group. She has a wonderful personality and prepared a delicious feast for our group. In hindsight, I would make my own reservations for tours we wanted to take as we were disappointed with the concierge service. Also, there is now a large inflatable water feature for children right beside the villa. This wasn’t a problem, but it was not something we expected from the photos.
