My husband and I stayed here for a week in December 2013 and we had a great visit. The house has great views and is comfortable for 2 or 4 people (we just had the 2 of us). We would walk up the street to a dock and then snorkel around the point and back to our dock. It was great snorkeling - a dive shop near by even took a dive trip here once while we were here, so it is that good. It was a little tricky getting back in to the shore behind the house because it is coral and not sand, so make sure you have shoes on (booties under fins or water shoes). The house is very quiet and secluded - a great get away.
We filled the hummingbird feeders and got lots of humming birds during the day, then left them out over night and fruit bats came and finished all the fluid! So if you don't like bats then bring them in before dark! We thought it was pretty cool though.
We sometimes took a little siesta in the afternoon because it got pretty hot, we loved having the A/C unit in the bedroom.
Be sure to use filtered water (don't forget to use filtered water for coffee), get lots of bug spray, buy ice. Note the fees that you have to pay on top of the rental price (we had a price of $805 for the week but added up to $1,180 including internet, fees, taxes). Also, don't bother sending any postcards from here - I sent A BUNCH and none of them were received. So mail them after you get back to the US.
I forget the house manager's name (Rhonda maybe?), she was great! She met us at the airport and waited while we got our truck, took us to the grocery and made sure we would be well supplied, pointed out attractions, made food recommendations, and was she was available the entire week if we had any questions.
Also, when we booked last year there were a bunch of good reviews for the house but then it sold and the new owners weren't able to keep the same reviews. We were there under the new owners (same house manager) and it was great! So if you like lots of good reviews, this house had them which is why we booked. I meant to do this review a long time ago - better late than never!
